PT Physical Therapist
Born and raise in Ozora, Missouri, Maria attended Maryville University in St. Louis and received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998. After graduation she gained experience in in-patient and out-patient therapy. She became a certified clinical instructor through St. Louis University and received Outstanding Clinical Instructor Award from SLU. In 2003, she came home to Ste. Genevieve working for Mid America Rehab working in in-patient, out-patient, nursing home, and home health areas. She developed the women's health program in Ste. Genevieve and has continued to receive primarily women's health patients with incontinence, cystocele, rectocele, constipation issues, pelvic pain syndromes, and pre-and post-partum pain issues. She also provides care in the nursing home, assisted living, and school settings. She is a presenter at the Centering Pregnancy session on pregnancy discomforts. She loves the field of women's health and positively affecting and educating women of all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys family time and educating in the area of healthy living and disease prevention.
