Ryan Buchheit
PT, CHT, CEAS Physical Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist, Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist
Ryan graduated from Maryville University in 2001 and began working for Mid America Rehab in September 2001. He became a Certified Hand Therapist in November 2008. Ryan is also certified in dry needling therapy. The majority of Ryan’s practice focuses on outpatient rehab, sports medicine, hand therapy, and work conditioning programs. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys fishing, farming, and spending time with his wife Carrie, and two children Noah and Grace.
Kirsten Thieret
PTA Physical Therapist Assistant
Kirsten received her Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from Mineral Area College’s Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. She began her career with Mid America Rehab in our Cape Girardeau and Perryville facilities working in outpatient, inpatient, home health, pediatrics, and aquatics. She moved to our Altenburg clinic when it opened in September 2015. Kirsten also has experience working in a skilled nursing facility. In her free time, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
