Robert Sherrill
MBA, PT, CHT, CEAS Physical Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist, Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, Clinic Director
Robert (Bob) is originally from Farmington, MO, and is a 1993 graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia Physical Therapy Program. He began his career as an outpatient physical therapist specializing in a wide range of orthopedic conditions. He completed his board certification in hand therapy in 1998 at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He cofounded Mid America Rehab in 1994 where he has worked since specializing in sports, industrial, and hand rehabilitation. Robert also has a particular expertise with functional employment testing and sits as a member of the board of directors of WorkSTEPS, Inc., the nation's largest employment testing company. He is a well-respected clinician and has taught Hand and Orthopedic Rehabilitation as a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Missouri - Columbia for more than 10 years. Bob is married to his wife Wynette and is blessed with two sons, one step-son and two step-daughters. He is an avid fly-fisherman and is enthusiastic to talk fishing with those who will listen.

Stacia Shipman
MPT Physical Therapist
Stacia is originally from Dexter, MO, and is a 2003 graduate from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Stacia specializes in rehabilitation of complex orthopedic conditions and is certified in Dry Needling. She has an interest in rehabilitation of hand and upper extremity conditions or trauma and as well as manual therapy. On a personal note, Stacia has two children and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Katie Schaal
PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Katie is originally from Cape Girardeau, MO. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science – Occupational Therapy in 2007 and a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2011, both from University of Missouri. Having experience in two fields of therapy, Katie has a unique perspective and value of the importance of interdisciplinary care. She has been practicing in the Columbia and Boonville Missouri area for the past 7 years. Katie specializes in the rehabilitation of complex orthopedic conditions. She was recently certified in Functional Dry Needling, which she has implemented with her patients with good success. Katie also has an interest in treating antepartum and postpartum patients. On a personal note, Katie met her husband in Physical Therapy School and they have two daughters and a son. Katie enjoys being active and running.

Wynnette Sherrill
OTR/L, CHT, Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed, Certified Hand Therapist
Wynnette is originally from a farm community in northeast Missouri. She graduated from the Occupational Therapy program at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1998. In 2005, she became a Certified Hand Therapist. Wynnette has spent most of her career in outpatient private practice, with an emphasis on the injured worker. She has an identical twin sister that is also an Occupational Therapist, and is married to Bob Sherrill, Physical Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist, and Clinic Director of our Cape Girardeau clinic.

Dustin Kalinski
CEAS-Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, WorkSTEPS Coordinator
Dustin is a 2009 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. An Advance native, Dustin has been a member of the Mid America Rehab team since 2010 starting as a technician. He currently serves as the WorkSTEPS coordinator in our Cape Girardeau clinic and is Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. On a personal note, Dustin is married and he and his wife share a young son. In his free time he enjoys camping, hunting, and wood working.

Charissa Griggs
PTA Physical Therapist Assistant
Charissa is originally from Jackson, MO. She is a 2013 graduate from Mineral Area College with an Associate's degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Prior to pursuing her PTA degree, Charissa attended Southeast Missouri State University and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. Charissa has multiple years of outpatient and skilled nursing experience where her focus was on inpatient and outpatient rehab for the adult population. In her free time, Charissa enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Kyle, and two children, Kinsley and Bentley.

Lahna Robertson
PTA, Physical Therapist Assistant
Lahna is originally from the small town of Steele, MO and is a 2022 graduate of the PTA program at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. Prior to obtaining her degree as a PTA, Lahna attended Three Rivers College where she was a member of the cheer team and graduated in 2021 with an associate degree in health sciences. Her favorite part of therapy is meeting new patients and supporting them throughout their healing journey. She has an identical twin sister that is also a PTA. In her free time, Lahna enjoys eating at Chili’s and spending time with her family, friends, and pet corn snake.

Dylan Rush
PTA, Physical Therapist Assistant
Dylan attended Southeast Missouri State University for 3 years until transferring to Mineral Area College where he graduated in 2018. He has experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. He also serves in the Missouri National Guard with the 1221st transportation company. In his free time, Dylan enjoys drawing, playing board games and spending time with his family.
